Hi there! I’m Lauryn! A photographer, storyteller, and mama to two wonderful boys, August and Archer. My camera is never far from reach, always ready to capture the moments that make life beautifully unique. Originally from Texas, I grew up with big skies, bold flavors (I’ll never say no to good Mexican food and a spicy margarita), and an early appreciation for heartfelt connection. After a decade on Whidbey Island, it’s safe to say this place has become my family's home. With its breathtaking landscapes and tightly-knit community, it offers the kind of everyday magic I strive to reflect in my work.

My husband serves in the military, and together we’ve built a life here filled with love, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the simple, meaningful things: sunrises over the Sound, quiet whale sightings from shore, and the joy of watching our boys grow up surrounded by nature. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me cuddled up with our dogs, singing along (loudly and proudly) to every Taylor Swift lyric since 2006, or soaking up slow moments with my family.

Photography is more than a passion it’s a way of honoring the stories that shape us.
